Niall Fraser a.k.a. TinRaven, has developed applications for both iOS and Android across a variety of fields, including games, film and album promotion, F1 racing team information and others.
He is currently working on developing the Story Shuffle app with Eastleigh Borough Council’s Culture Unit for the Eastleigh Train project, which is designed to bring children into greater contact with their local libraries.
“I have been developing software for almost 25 years, starting on military and commercial simulators for what is now BAE Systems. After a stint working for games publisher SCi I set up my own mobile development company, Covert Operations which later became part of award-winning mobile phone development studio IOMO where I was the Development Director. Beginning with J2ME and Qualcomm’ s Brew through to iOS and Android I have nearly 15 years experience developing mobile apps.”
“I formerly served on the board of TIGA, the trade association representing the UK’s games industry and was a Committee Member and Social Secretary for TIGA Mobile. I have spoken at Develop Conference and the Mobile Games Forum. I have a keen interest in science and technology and am a Member of the Royal Institution.”
